LEARN TO WEAVE YOUR OWN BASKETS

This delightful, playful and creative workshop enables you to make your own baskets from yarn, batik fabric and recycled containers.  You will learn the process thoroughly and be able to go home with your own creations as well as confidence that you can repeat what you learned on your own. The workshop is ideal for church groups, family reunions, birthday parties, combatting the winter blues or just plain having fun! It can also be adapted for older children.

WHERE ARE THE WORKSHOPS?

This workshop can be adapted to a variety of locations -  weaving in our eight acres of woods, at the beach, at your church, around a campfire, around your living room fire, somewhere open and expansive, somewhere cozy and warm. Wherever you need some extra fun, this workshop will make it happen!

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

Nancy will supply a large assortment of yarn from which to choose as well as beautiful batik fabrics and beads.  She demonstrates the process from start to finish and then assists along the way so that each person is very successful. This workshop usually takes about 4-5 hours which allows for time to ponder, create and reflect on the process with others once the creations are complete.

WHAT IS THE COST?

The cost of the workshop is $40/person with a minimum of ten people. This cost includes instruction and all the materials that are provided by Nancy. A travel/mileage fee is also expected for off site workshops.
